Avalon Emerson is one of dance music’s most dynamic and respected figures. Emerging from San Francisco’s storied warehouse scene before relocating to Berlin in 2013, she spent over a decade honing her craft at Berghain and global festivals. Renowned for sets that transcend genre and era, Emerson seamlessly weaves house, techno, new wave, and rave obscurities with her own acclaimed productions and edits.

Her eclectic curatorial vision is anchored by 9000 Dreams, an international event series launched in 2019. Following a lauded DJ-Kicks mix in 2020 and high-profile remixes for artists like Slowdive and Robyn, Emerson expanded her artistic boundaries. After moving to New York, she explored traditional songwriting with her critically acclaimed 2023 debut album, Avalon Emerson & the Charm.

Following a busy 2025 dedicated to global touring and her evolving Perpetual Emotion Machine singles project, Emerson is charting an exciting path in 2026. Introducing this next era, she recently released the propulsive single "Eden" and announced her highly anticipated sophomore album, Written into Changes, via indie powerhouse Dead Oceans.
